Mission Valley Choral Society is joined by a drummer, flutist, cellist and the Copeland Memorial Bell Ringers to present a smashing holiday concert weekend on Saturday, Dec. 6, 1 p.m., at the Mission Church in St. Ignatius and on Sunday, Dec. 7, 4 p.m., at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Polson.
Director Cathy Gillhouse has selected 15 musical numbers including Roger Whittaker’s “I Am But a Small Voice,” Amy Grant’s “Breath of Heaven,” a traditional Hebrew greeting “Hannukah Shalom,” several traditional Christmas songs and finishing with two George Frederic Handel pieces.
The concerts are free and welcoming to all. A free-will offering will be taken to help the choir with music expense. For information contact 406-261-3304 or 406-260-6103; or check out the MVCS web site missionvalleychoralsociety.org or Facebook page.
